So it doesn’t come as a huge surprise that a small UK town is [piloting](http://uk.news.yahoo.com/itn/20080304/tuk-padding-to-protect-pedestrians-dba1618.html) a program to pad lamp posts after a survey by research firm 118 118 reported one in 10 English pedestrians have injured themselves by texting while walking.
