Apple Checking Into iOS 4/iPhone 3G Complaints

Apple finally has gotten the iPhone 4 off the front pages, but now it has another iPhone issue to address: complaints that when its new phone operating system iOS 4 is killing the performance of the iPhone 3G. The 3G came out in 2008, an eternity in the smartphone world, notes Enterprise Mobile Today. Should you upgrade? Read on and decide.


Apple has reportedly begun looking into complaints of poor performance by iOS 4 operating system on its iPhone 3G phone, a move that comes in response to weeks of criticism on Apple’s forums and numerous blog posts advising people who own the older phone not to upgrade.

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) confirmed it is investigating the problem to the Wall Street Journal, but did not elaborate.
