ClickPLAY Inc. and GEO Interactive will to package and deliver audio and video content that will allow consumers to preview and purchase music and video entertainment using Emblaze-enabled mobile telephones and other wireless handheld devices.

ClickPLAY will provide previews of digital media content in standard-compliant MPEG-4 format to be featured in Emblaze Wireless trials to consumers, wireless device manufacturers and network carriers around the world.

Under the deal, ClickPLAY will gather and package previews of music, movies and other video content for the Emblaze Wireless back-end solution. ClickPLAY has already signed agreements to demonstrate this technology with selected preview content from Gold Circle Entertainment, and preview material from the Internet feature film Quantum Project from SightSound.com. ClickPLAY is also negotiating content deals with other music and filmed entertainment organizations.

“The ClickPLAY/GEO agreement effectively creates the world’s first wireless media preview network,” says Alan Kaplan, founder and CEO of ClickPLAY. “At the same time, the ClickPLAY/GEO agreement enables GEO to include an exciting new application for the Emblaze Wireless Solution for wireless carriers and media networks around the world.”

Adds Kaplan: “By offering a new way for users of wireless devices to experience previews and purchase high-quality entertainment, ClickPLAY gives our associates in the entertainment world a tremendous new outlet for plugging in to the wireless world.”
