Mountain View, Calif.-based DevX, an information and services destination for IT developers, this week announced a partnership with Qualcomm Inc., DevX has been tapped to explain the benefits and potentiality of Qualcomm’s Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless (BREW), an open, standard platform for wireless applications development.
Financial terms of the DevX/Qualcomm partnership were not available, although Qualcomm is underwriting the project and will continue to be involved in future partnerships with DevX, according to Peter Horan, CEO of DevX.
