Active Concepts released
version 3.6 of Funnel Web, its multiplatform Web analysis solution targeted
at business, e-commerce and education markets.

Funnel Web 3.6 features reduced RAM requirements, improved performance,
new report legends, extended error reporting, support for .acgi and .taf
page extensions, and support for Oracle’s WRB Web server.

Funnel Web 3.6 also contains report legends for the most common graphic
reports, with the intent of making it even easier for first-time viewers to
understand Funnel Web’s intensely detailed analysis of Web-based traffic.
Funnel Web 3.6 enables extended error information to be presented on most
reports. Specific support has been added for Oracle’s WRB Web server and the
recent WebSTAR Server Suite 4.1 update announced last month.

Funnel Web provides
information about client usage patterns, market penetration and
effectiveness. It claims to be dramatically faster than competing products,
and provides charting and profiling of online activity. According to a
statement issued by Active Concepts, Funnel Web’s easy-to-read graphs and
charts enable rapid interpretation of server performance and client
usage.

The upgrade to Funnel Web 3.6 is available for Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS,
Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT. It can be downloaded from Active
Concepts’ Web site. It
is free to registered users of version 3.x. New copies of Funnel Web 3.6 are
priced at $249 for the standard version and $499 for the professional
version. Discounts are available for educational institutions. Upgrades from
Funnel Web 1.x or 2.0.x are $99 for the standard edition and $199 for the
professional edition.

An evaluation copy of Funnel Web can also be downloaded from Active Concepts’ Web site.
