BroadVisionII
Inc.
today announced
that BroadVision will support server-side Java and JavaScript technology in
upcoming versions of BroadVision One-To-One Enterprise.

By providing support for the Java programming language and JavaScript in
BroadVision One-To-One Enterprise, the tool gives software developers and
system integrators a headstart in application development.

BroadVision is one of the first such solutions to support server-side
JavaScript. This enables developers to create personalized, electronic
commerce and knowledge management applications. According to BroadVisionII
Inc., by using the tool, enterprises can gain a competitive advantage “by
being able to develop and deploy their sites more rapidly than ever before.”

Sandra Vaughan, Vice President of Marketing for BroadVision, stated “Sun is
our leading platform provider…over three quarters of BroadVision’s
customers around the world have chosen to run their electronic commerce
businesses on Solaris today. By supporting Sun’s Java in BroadVision
One-To-One Enterprise, our customers can incorporate the full power of Java
technology while enhancing their investment in existing Java applications.”
