Delphi Forums Friday announced new services designed to help destination sites use interactive communities in an effort to boost audience loyalty and commerce potential.

The process is often referred to as “stickiness” which describes a site’s ability to attract and retain visitors for longer periods of time.

Delphi’s is providing services which they say will create “a complete Web-based community infrastructure by combining Delphi’s forum development environment and technology with complete integration, technical and promotional support.”

Delphi hopes to be the partner of choice for other sites looking to create quality interactive communities. Delphi already provides its community creation platform and services to almost 20 million users, and will announce additional partnerships with several leading Web sites in the next few weeks.

Delphi has been offering free memberships for both forum leaders and forum participants. Membership has grown 700 percent to 1.3 million active members with more than 225,000 public and private forums. Visitors can create their own public forum, participate in forums hosted by other members, or create a private forum for a group of friends, colleagues, or associates.
