According to Bugnet, it’s possible for Microsoft’s FrontPage Web authoring tool to erase other Microsoft software on your disk inadvertently.

This includes your operating system, not to mention all the other
useful files on your C: drive.

Bugnet’s claim is that a disk-based FrontPage web created in the root directory of a hard drive–where many computer novices will be perfectly happy to locate it–will, when deleted by FrontPage, take the entire contents of the drive with it.

For more information, check out this BugNet Alert, and
don’t delete any FrontPage webs before you do!
