Infotonic this
week announced plans to launch Guaranteed!, a Web host quality assurance
program for individuals and businesses looking for a dependable service
provider/host.

Infotonic said that unlike typical certification programs presently offered
by industry associations, ISPcheck’s Guaranteed! Program will have no
affiliation with any Web hosting company. Infotonic describes the program’s
evaluation process as “an unbiased, independent third party.”

Infotonic’s Guaranteed! Program is to be integrated with ISPcheck. ISPcheck
enables its visitors to search through an extensive database of more than
12,000 service plans available from 3,500 Web hosting and Internet access
providers. A Guaranteed! filter will be added to ISPcheck’s search
interface, which allows visitors to limit searches to those hosts which
meet their requirements.

To be listed as an ISPcheck Guaranteed! Webhost, a provider must complete
an evaluation process which verifies the company’s “experience,
connectivity and good standing with its vendors and client base.”
