InterCOL Offers Validation Certificate at Point-of-Purchase

Kapenda Corp. launched InterCOL.net, an independent online source
for verification of the legitimacy of Internet-based businesses and charitable
organizations.

InterCOL independently verifies supplied company information, then issues a
hyperlinked virtual seal that helps prospective buyers make informed online
purchasing decisions when dealing with Internet-based businesses and
charities, the company said.

Companies with verified data are authorized to display InterCOL’s Internet
Certificate of Legitimacy at their Web site.

Consumers may click on the seal to obtain instant information about the
legitimacy of the Web site on which a product or service is advertised, the
company said. Information about the company or organization is hosted on
InterCOL’s servers.

There is a nominal fee to apply to InterCOL for approval. InterCOL offers
charitable and not-for-profit organizations the opportunity to receive free
verification provided the organization meets the necessary guidelines for
approval.

“Our goal at InterCOL is to be a virtual version of the Better Business
Bureau,” said Simon Kapenda, president of the company. “Our seal raises the
comfort level of online consumers by offering
instant access to business validation right at the point-of-purchase if they
feel insecure about the company or sale
InterCOL also offers free business and consumer alerts and an online complaint
form.”
