Macromedia, Inc.
today announced the release of Web Design 101, its new educational tool
suite designed for
degree-issuing institutions that offer Web design or Web design-related
courses.

Macromedia Web Design 101 is designed to teach students how to use each of
Macromedia’s Web design tools, and includes six hours of hands-on course
curriculum for each of the tools. The suite also includes 90-day versions
of Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash and FreeHand for use during the course.

Through October 31, 1998, along with the Web Design 101 suite, Macromedia
is also offering back-to-school student pricing of $99 each for
Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash and FreeHand.

The suite is designed to teach students how to develop compelling,
interactive Web sites and pages. Students are able to study the basics of
Web layouts and navigational elements, create and optimize Web bitmap
graphics, add life to their pages by creating vector-based animation and
interactivity and put it all together using Macromedia Dreamweaver.

To receive a free copy of Macromedia Web Design 101, contact Macromedia at
800-457-1774. Although free, a $14.99 shipping and handling fee will apply.
