Microsoft Updates Web Design Tools

Microsoft’s Expression Web design software has been given a significant overhaul and revamped into a trio of new products for designers to build standards-compliant Web pages, right down to SEO optimization. CodeGuru describes what’s new and when you can get it.


Microsoft told designers and developers this week that it is shipping the latest version of Expression Studio, the company’s Web site construction suite. The announcement came Monday during the Internet Week New York 2010 Conference.

The update, which Microsoft calls Expression Studio 4, is available for 60-day trial download, the company said in a statement. Additionally, Microsoft has restructured the Expression product line, a company executive said in a blog post.
