Skunk Technologies, announced the release of ENTAO Sessions, a communication and collaboration tool that enables developers to enhance existing enterprise Web sites by adding customizable digital environments and avatars, streaming media, sound, and more.

Skunk said it designed Sessions to enrich and elevate the average enterprise
presence on the Web. The tool enables developer to create a virtual environment that provides a platform for e-commerce while allowing companies to host multiple users in a customizable environment, complete with scrolling banners and sound.

Sessions was designed with “user friendliness” in mind, and provides a simple
administration GUI that enables developers to create customized environments
by pointing and clicking. The product is backed by a technical support, training, and customer service team.

Using ENTAO Sessions, all of the computation-intensive software stays on the
server, while the information is streamed in real time to users via Java
applets. This enables visitors to just log on and start using Sessions
immediately within the Web browser.
