BullSoft Tuesday rolled out
improvements to its AccessMaster security software product line that gives
organizations security tools to protect their enterprise applications.

AccessMaster 5.2 security includes Web Single Sign-On (SSO) technology,
which allows users to access many Web and enterprise applications with one
log-on and one password. As a result, AccessMaster Web SSO software speeds
the implementation of intranet and extranet portals by providing secure
access to enterprise applications required to support e-business
applications, such as on-line ordering, supply chain management or billing.

“Now, for the first time, organizations can manage authorization enabling
both Web and enterprise users to access all their applications through a
single security policy, all implemented using consistent, user-friendly
single sign-on capabilities,” said Henry Ancona, BullSoft president.

Enhancements to AccessMaster include:

  • Enhanced security and ease of use for remote users, such as mobile
workers, with single sign-on for traditional, client-server
    applications through dial-in remote access
  • Low-cost, enterprise-wide single sign-on setup for traditional, web
based client/server applications with a graphical SSO builder and automated
    deployment.
  • Broader protection of Microsoft environments with integrated support
for Microsoft SSPI within AccessMaster’s enterprise wide
security management. This allows for consistent security management of
SSPI-based Windows applications, such as IIS or Internet
    Explorer, in heterogeneous environments
