Enterprise Web content management solutions provider IntraNet Solutions Inc. Monday unveiled Xpedio WAM.
Xpedio WAM is designed to ensure content is secure, up-to-date and available for developers of enterprise Web applications. Web assets may include HTML or XML, images, graphics, banners, PDF files, scripts, video, audio, ASP pages, applets and documents.
Its goal is to minimize difficulty in locating assets, improper use of assets, or use of expired or incorrect versions, or redundant assets. Xpedio WAM works as the single authority that manages the contribution approval process, revision management, archiving, and release and expiration of Web assets for multiple users.
Assets can be contributed by their authors via a standard browser. Approval can occur on these assets via an automatic e-mail driven workflow process, and Web designers can search for assets that may already exist in the system in
order to re-use the asset.
Pricing starts at $100,000 for unlimited content contributors and consumers and includes one server license, security, workflow, thumbnailing and archiving and replication capabilities. It is scheduled to ship March 10 for Windows NT and UNIX systems. The Linux version will be available by May 1. An Xpedio WAM QuickStart Support Package is also available and starts at $5,000.
