Paging Networks Inc. Monday teamed with intranet service provider HotOffice Technologies to offer wireless communications capabilities to small business and road warrior markets.

Early in the alliance, PageNet (PAGE)
subsidiary Vast Solutions will offer PageNet services and products to
HotOffice clients. PageNet will also market and promote the HotOffice
intranet service, which targets small businesses.

“We are pleased to work with HotOffice, as they have quickly ramped up
their customer acquisition and clearly positioned themselves as the leader
in the virtual office and Web-based intranet category,” said Mark
Knickrehm, president and chief operating officer of Vast Solutions.

“As industry observers continue to emphasize the tremendous benefits of the future of the ‘wireless desktop extension,’ PageNet and HotOffice will begin to execute a total solution — your office, your information, your e-mail and messages anywhere at anytime.”

PageNet is the leading provider of wireless messaging and information services, with about 10 million subscribers in the United States.
