RSW Software this week released e-TEST Suite 3.1 which automates the testing of business-critical intranet and Internet applications.

The new version includes several new features, including the new e-reporter module which offers enhanced reporting, graphing and statistical analysis of test results. It also has enhanced support for scripts written in Visual Basic, C++ and Java as well as support for JavaScript and VBScript.

The product also handles load and scalability testing and is capable of continuously monitoring the performance of live Web applications. These functions are handled through RSW’s Visual Script technology, requring no programming.

“Many of our customers maximize the value of the e-TEST Suite by using it throughout the development process. They have asked for a means to track application performance from the initial prototype to the live site,” said Anand Sundaram, RSW’s founder and director of product management.

Pricing for the system starts at $4,995 on Windows-based platforms. A fully-functional trial version is available from the company’s Web site.
