Yahoo! Inc. Monday signed a distribution agreement with Verity, Inc. to add personalization features to corporate intranets.

Under the agreement, Verity will provide a link to My Yahoo! as part of Verity’s Corporate Portal Guide. The agreement is designed to provide users with features such as updated national news, sports and financial information and local
weather reports on company intranets.

“Intranet and Internet information personalization are key to building
effective portals,” said Ronald
Weissman, Verity’s vice president of strategy, corporate development and corporate
marketing.

“By aligning a top Internet company with a leading knowledge retrieval provider, we expect our customers will derive great benefit from a more comprehensive, robust corporate portal.”

The Verity Corporate Portal Guide is now available for download from the
Verity Web site.
