ACS Lands DoDEA Contract

ACS has signed a $3.2 million contract with the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) to provide local area network and desktop support services to DoDEA facilities in Virginia, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and Cuba.


The one-year contract, with one option year, includes DoDEA’s desktop, file server administration, Web and help desk services under one contractor, and extends ACS’ relationship with the DoDEA to five years.


Under the contract, ACS will provide the following services to government staff at DoDEA offices in Arlington, Va.: network management and administration, client/server support, application support and problem resolution, data communications support, systems installation and maintenance, and Web technology support.


ACS will also provide services to other DoDEA sites, including the Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools headquarters in Peach Tree City, Ga., and to schools at Warner Robins Air Force Base, Ga., Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico, and Guantanamo Bay Naval Air Station, Cuba.
