Active Concepts upgraded its Web site auditing tool, Funnel Web, to version 2.5, adding a variety of new features.

Regional reporting, mean path through site, domain aggregating, offsite processing, plus support for new
servers and graphics formats are all included in the updated product. It is available for the Macintosh first, with Windows/NT and Unix versions to follow.

“Being able to see a visual representation of the mean path through your site is
extremely helpful in making good business decisions,” said Dr. Darren Williams, president and CEO of Active Concepts. “Of course, international
companies appreciate breaking down reports by regions, especially since we
already support reporting in twelve different languages.”

Funnel Web’s mean path feature makes it easy to get a quick visual snapshot
of the most followed traffic pattern. The software’s offsite processing is designed to enable
companies who use external hosting services to schedule a time for Funnel
Web to log in, download the log file–and process it. The vendor said it is the
only analysis product on Mac OS to support offsite processing.

Funnel Web currently supports 72 different Web servers, including the
market-leading servers such as WebSTAR, IIS, WebSite, and those from
Netscape. Funnel Web 2.5 costs $249 for the standard version and
$499 for the professional version, with discount for educational users.
