AnyDevice Premieres New Product

AnyDevice, an Atlanta-based mobile and telecom software infrastructure company, launched GoAnywhere Transact, a new mobile software application for the financial services industry.

GoAnywhere made its debut Friday at the Internet World Wireless Tradeshow and Conference at Jacob Javits Center in New York. According to AnyDevice’s marketing communications manager, Dave Watson, GoAnywhere Transact enables companies like banks, brokerage firms, payment processors and insurance carriers to provide mobile and voice access to their transactional services, and ultimately create additional revenue streams by extending AnyDevice clients’ networks to mobile platforms.

Transactions that are now possible from mobile locations include payment processors, filings of remote insurance claims and stock transactions. The GoAnywhere Transact is compatible with most mobile devices currently on the market.

AnyDevice has also partnered with Jacksonville, Fla.-based Encore Development, Inc., a digital business solutions provider, to develop applications and system integration for firms that use mobile platforms. According to the agreement, AnyDevice’s GoAnywhere will be supported by Encore and offered to its clients.

“Encore offers AnyDevice a far-reaching extension to our existing sales, development and implementation efforts,” AnyDevice founder and CEO Tom Johnson said. “Encore’s established core of expertise in digital business solutions allows us to focus on building and advancing the fast-evolving technology behind enterprise mobilization.”

“Encore and AnyDevice offer an immediate, enterprise-scale mobile solution to companies that want to extend their workplace applications beyond the PC,” Tom Leonard, founder, co-chairman and CTO of Encore, said. “AnyDevice’s platform adds a critical technology component to Encore’s mobile solutions because it provides a scaleable, flexible and device-neutral architectural environment that can be quickly and seamlessly integrated within a company’s existing infrastructure.”

Some of AnyDevice’s clients include GE Capital, the National Football League, Cox Interactive Media and IPO.com. Encore’s clients includes Citigroup, UPS and Equifax.
