Seattle.internet.com has learned that Appliant.com and RealNetworks have teamed up to achieve the latest in streaming media advertising management.

As part of the recent co-development relationship, Real Networks will use Appliant.com’s performance management technology to monitor the activity and effectiveness of advertisements delivered by Real Broadcast Network (Real Networks’ Internet broadcast service).

According to Appliant.com’s CEO Dr. Brian Bershad, this latest monitoring tool for streaming media advertising is the result of the request of customers and partners for the company to develop a service for streaming media similar to the company’s existing Web performance monitoring tool: Lateral Line Network. “We will continue to evolve in this market, providing services to meet the needs of the more broadly defined streaming media market,” says Dr. Bershad.
