Avilar Technologies is now shipping
its WebMentor training software which allows organizations to create,
manage and deliver training courses via the Internet.

“WebMentor creates an Internet-based training environment that enables
training on any subject to anyone, anywhere, anytime. This product
revolutionizes continuing education by eliminating the cost and
inconvenience of instructor-based training or
education,” said Jerry Horsewood, president, Avilar Technologies.

Among WebMentor’s features are scalable browser-based authoring,
enrollment, registration, electronic commerce, a centralized ODBC compliant
database, six question types, student progress tracking, and online help.
It makes training courses available 24-hours-a-day across intranets and
extranets as well as the Internet.

WebMentor is available in Enterprise and Personal versions. WebMentor
Enterprise is a complete solution for an unlimited number of students and
costs from $3000. Personal Authoring offers course design and delivery to a
limited number of students (up to 5 or up to 50) and costs from #395.
