BellSouth IntelliVentures Inc., a
provider of online advertising and e- commerce solutions for small businesses
in the Southeast, and ad network Flycast Communications expanded their
partnership into Latin America.

BellSouth said the move comes after an initial success in selling locally
targeted online banner ads in the United States. Financial arrangements of
the new agreement were not disclosed.

The BellSouth/Flycast offering in the U.S. has already sold thousands of
banner advertising packages representing more than 100 million impressions,
the companies said.

The two companies have expanded their partnership to bring geo-targeted Web
advertising solutions to Brazil and Peru. Local advertisers there can now
purchase geo-targeted Web advertising packages in their local markets and in
the U.S.

Last September BellSouth and Flycast formed a partnership to enable local and
regional businesses to expand their market presence on the Web through the
Flycast Network, which now consists of over 1,000 Web sites.

“In BellSouth’s operating region, demand for locally based inventory through
the Flycast Network is exceeding our initial expectations,” said Terry
DiNatale, vice president of Internet sales for BellSouth IntelliVentures. “We
are. . .eager to extend our Flycast relationship to our customers in Latin
America.

BellSouth’s online yellow pages service is called The Real Yellow Pages ONLINE.
