CRA Inks Deal With ImproveMyBusiness.com

Aug 18, 2000

The California Restaurant Association has announced the selection of Seattle’s ImproveMyBusiness.com as a preferred provider of Internet and e-commerce products and services to CRA’s members.

The CRA represents the largest foodservice market in the U.S. and an industry that generates $30.4 billion in annual sales. The Association currently represents more than 14,000 restaurants.

ImproveMyBusiness.com will launch its IMB Market and its ImproveMyRestaurant.com site next month.

The National Restaurant Association named Bay Area competitor Instill as their preferred provider, but the tech savvy CRA went against the NRA’s recommendation. According to CRA officials IMB was a better technology fit for their members.

According to John Dunlap, President and CEO of CRA, IMB’s solution will help both operators and suppliers use the Web to lower their costs of operations, buy or sell more efficiently, recruit and retain the best employees, and generally improve their operations.
