DCIenable was the first company in Canada to actively service clients
through Nortel’s Shasta 5000 Broadband Service Node (BSN) technology.
The Nortel Shasta 5000 BSN is the first Broadband Service Node that
allows service providers to aggregate tens of thousands of
subscribers onto one platform and apply customized IP services to
these subscribers.
Through this technology DCIenable will offer statefull firewall, 3DES
VPN and a variety of customized traffic shaping services for hosted
clients.
