Diversinet Inks Deal with European X AND Mail

Diversinet Corp. made an agreement with X and Mail, a
prominent European provider of e-mail software and services, to enable X and
Mail products with secure messaging through Diversinet’s digital certificate
technology.


Under terms of the agreement, Diversinet will supply its Passport
Certificate Server product to X and Mail. The company will pay Diversinet a
scaled license fee on a per user basis based on the quantity of certificates
supplied.
“X and Mail has chosen Diversinet’s Passport Certificate Server for the
privacy and integrity of its solution,” said Xavier Cournault, President and
CEO of X and Mail.


“Diversinet’s unique solution will be incorporated into
our electronic messaging software that will be marketed and sold to our
customer base, composed of large accounts, Internet service providers, and
system integrators,” added Cournault.


Diversinet anticipates receiving its first order in the Fall. The fee scale
will require X and Mail to pay Diversinet $20 per certificate for the first
100,000 certificates sold.


Canadian-based Diversinet Corp. is a provider of Digital Certificate management tools and a developer of
public-key infrastructure (PKI) technology. X and Mail was the first e-mail software publisher in Europe. Their customers include the French postal office, the French Ministry of Defense, the French HealthCare Plan, National Tax Administration, and the Employment Agency.
