EuropeanInvestor.com Launches in U.S.

[May 22] EuropeanInvestor.com,
one of Europe’s top sources of online investment information for technology
stocks, has opened for business in the United States.

In the U.S., EuropeanInvestor.com plans to make its range of financial
content investment tools and services available to banks, brokerages,
Internet
access providers, financial sites, and telecom operators. The aim, says the
company, is to help individual U.S. investors take advantage of investment
possibilities in Europe.

“American investors are finally realizing that it is time to expand their
portfolios beyond the Dow and NASDAQ,” said Piet Van de Velde, chief
executive officer of EuropeanInvestor.com.

The key feature of the EuropeanInvestor.com site is its free access to
real time share prices on ten major markets, including London, Paris,
Frankfurt, Euro.NM, Amsterdam, Milan, Switzerland, New York, Nasdaq
and Amex.

Another feature of the site is a multi-currency portfolio tracker,
enabling investors to track up to 500 personally selected stocks in
up to 10 different portfolios across all the various markets.

Van de Velde said he thought the timing of his company’s entry into the
U.S. market was excellent. Speaking about the site’s capabilities he said
it presented very sophisticated information in a concise, understandable
format with an easily comprehensible interface.

EuropeanInvestor.com’s B2B suite enables any Web site to offer what the
company calls “cutting edge financial information.” It will let American
investors create and monitor an international stock portfolio in any
currency.
