Excite and Intuit announced this week the introduction of the new “Small Business by Quicken.com” channel on Excite’s portal.
In addition to the Excite network, the channel is also available on Intuit’s Quicken.com Web site as well
as on Excite’s other flagship service, WebCrawler.
The new channel is a joint effort between Intuit–makers of Quicken, QuickBooks, and TurboTax–and Excite aimed at tapping into the small business owner audience with targeted content.
The new channel will offer customized start pages for small
businesses featuring updated small business news and information,
business tools and services, such as the Quicken Business CashFinder Web service, user-to user
bulletin boards, and direct access to a variety of small business experts.
The announcement is the latest in a series of channels the two companies have formed together.
