Australian ISP FreeOnline has
announced an alliance with e-solutions company eGain to further enhance its customer
service to members.

Under the deal, eGain will manage FreeOnline’s high volume of email
traffic.

The alliance will allow FreeOnline to route, track and respond to large
volumes of customer email and Web form submissions, enabling customer
response in realtime.

“FreeOnline receives hundreds of e-mails each day and our success in
acquiring new members has given rise to a need to seek an integrated
solution to providing rapid response times for customer emails,” said
FreeOnline’s chief executive officer Sydney Low. “And as we grow, so does
our need for an effective communications solution.”
