While many of us only celebrate one holiday around this time, a variety of holidays from Ramadan to Kwanzaa to Oshogatsu take place this month.
In an effort to inform everyone about all of these holidays, Locally-based festivals.com has recently gone live with their holiday site “A season of celebration.”
If you still haven’t sent out your cards to celebrate these holidays, Zairmail may have an option for you. the Portland-based company is offering the procrastinaters among us an easy way to still send personalized holiday greetings to friends and family anywhere in the United States through the U.S. Postal Service.
Senders compose a holiday letter online and choose from one of six stationary designs. The letter is then printed at the Zairmail facility closest to the destination, addressed and inserted into an envelope along with a greeting card. The U.S. Postal Service distributes the letter by first-class mail for rapid delivery.
Holiday letters can be sent for free if the sender chooses to include product information from advertisers. If a sender prefers not to include a the ads, each letter will cost $.50 including the card.
As the holiday season progresses, one also can’t forget the parties.
This evening, the party season kicks off with the Seattle Network holiday party. The organizers of the event promise some “great e-tailers with killer giveaways and coupons for online shopping.” The dress is holiday attire, anything from formal to business casual.
The evening starts at 7 at the EMP, and is free for members, $25 for non-members.
