AT&T Canada, in collaboration with i2 Technologies, has rolled out AT&T Canada Marketplace, a secure Web-based business-to-business marketplace designed to connect buyers and sellers.

i2 Technologies will power the new e-marketplace with its TradeMatrix
platform. AT&T Canada Marketplace will simplify and streamline the
procurement of goods and services, improve fulfillment processes, and
facilitate improved communication between customers and suppliers.

Headquartered in Dallas, TX, i2 has approximately 3,200 employees and
maintains offices worldwide.

TradeMatrix is a comprehensive electronic business solution that enables
companies to deploy business-to-business and business-to-consumer portals.
It offers a broad spectrum of solutions and hosted services, including
procurement, commerce, fulfillment, customer care, retail, planning, and
product development.

The new service offers an open platform providing marketplace-to-marketplace
connectivity, a wide range of services, rich content, and fulfillment
planning and execution processes.

AT&T Canada will also be implementing i2’s e-business solutions for internal
use.

Initially, AT&T Canada Marketplace will focus on assisting buyers in
purchasing non-production goods and services, office supplies, and
maintenance services.

With subsequent releases, AT&T Canada Marketplace will incorporate
additional TradeMatrix solutions and hosted services, including direct
procurement, fulfillment, and supply chain management support.

AT&T Canada will host the new service at its state-of-the art Web
applications and hosting center, located in Toronto. It is scheduled to be
available in the third quarter of 2000. A preview is available now at http://www.attcanadamarketplace.com.
