InfoInterActive, the application
service provider of Internet call management services, through its London,
U.K.-based partner Witchity
Corp., recently formed a strategic
relationship with Mediafon Telecomunicaciones, a Spanish telecommunications
firm.
OnLine Call Manager (OCM) uses InfoInterActive’s patented Internet
CallManager (ICM) technology. It allows Internet users to monitor and manage
incoming calls while their phone lines are connected to the Internet.
The partnership will bring InfoInterActives OnLine Call Manager to Internet
users in Spain by July of this year.
OCM was launched in the U.K. in January and won the U.K.s Internet
Services Providers Association’s Most Innovative New ISP Product
award in February.
InfoInterActive holds patents in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Singapore
for its Internet Call Manager technology, and has patents pending in 24
other countries.
“Spain’s burgeoning Internet industry is an ideal marketplace for OCM,” said
Bill McMullin, InfoInterActive chairman and chief executive officer.
“There’s a global appeal to being able to surf worry free, knowing that
you’re always accessible.”
