Inktomi Partners with KPMG Consulting

Inktomi Corp. and KPMG Consulting formed an alliance
to deliver commerce and other e-business solutions for enterprise and service
provider customers.


Under the agreement, KPMG Consulting’s Media & Content practice and Inktomi
will offer customers a content delivery solution that includes strategy
consulting, site architecture planning, network design, product installation,
training, and ongoing support.


KPMG Consulting will promote Inktomi’s network products, including Traffic
Server and Content Delivery Suite as part of its portfolio of solutions, as
well as Inktomi’s e-business, e-integration and e-infrastructure offerings.
Financial arrangements between the companies were not disclosed.


“KPMG Consulting’s system integration expertise combined with Inktomi’s
infrastructure software will offer customers the resources and experience to
deliver advanced commerce, content and application services,” said Vince
Vannelli, Inktomi’s (INKT) general manager for network products.
