  • Broadcast.com (NASDAQ:BCST) shares rise 22% to $44.25 per share on the front-and-center role it played in delivering the Clinton testimony to several Websites. Also providing a feed was InterVU (NASDAQ:ITVU), a pioneer in video-audio over the Net known more for its advertising side, however. That explains the 4.6% drop for ITVU shares today to $9.06 per share.

  • Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) shares also climb on the Clinton saga as it posts a pre-order for Clinton’s video testimony for sale at $9.95 a pop. Amazon reports it’s already one of the best sellers ever, #1 on its Hot100 listing.

  • AOL (NYSE:AOL) gets reiterated as a “buy” from Salomon Smith Barney which targets AOL shares at $140. AOL closes today at $102.375 per share, up 4.6%. We think AOL is a primary Internet holding and one that could become the “Microsoft” of the Internet in the next five years if it can turn the corner with its membership to every iteration that pops up in the evolving Internet. So far it has, in our opinion.

  • Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) signs Infoseek, Lycos, SNAP, and GoTo.com sign up to provide search services on its MSN site. The group pays $60 million for guaranteed number of impressions delivered for one year. No specific terms revealed. That looks like big dollars for MSN which has yet to prove itself. With the new-and-improved MSN debuting soon we’ll see where it comes up in traffic and users.
