  • Netscape (NASDAQ:NSCP) Netcenter reports its registrations rise 112% since June, with 850,000 new members registering in September. Page views also on the up at 46% although actual numbers aren’t revealed. Netcenter may be quite a story, with revenue in league with Yahoo. Wall Street hasn’t cared, yet.

  • Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) will be listed as trading instrument “LEAPS” with strike prices of 90, 100, 110 and 120 with expirations in January 2000 (CBOE: LOH) and January 2001 (CBOE: ZWE) on Chicago Board Options Exchange.

  • Opinion Research Corporation issues a study that says seven Internet brands are recognized by more than 50 million U.S. adults: AOL, Yahoo, Netscape, Amazon.com, Excite, Infoseek and Priceline. Priceline? Ask 1 in 4 Americans if they’ve heard of Priceline, we doubt it. How about Lycos, that’d be our bet.
