  • Market Guide (NASDAQ:MARG) reports record third-quarter revenues and earnings with revenues reaching $2.4 million, up 41% vs. 3Q last year. Net income hits $209k or $0.04 EPS vs. flat last year’s quarter. We think the increase reflects the demand and growth for online financial stats which Market Guide delivers to several large websites, with Market Guide’s outlets up to 60 from 40.

  • Network Solutions (NASDAQ:NSOL) follows its ad deal with Yahoo with another one with Netscape’s Netcenter. Network Solutions has signed agreements with more than 150 ISPs also to promote its registration services.

  • Mindspring (NASDAQ:MSPG) completes a 2.3 million share offering through underwriters ING Barings Furman Selz , DLJ, Jeffries, J.C. Bradford, and Wheat First. The cash should help one of the largest indy ISPs expand and also could make it more attractive to acquirers.
