Women’s network iVillage Inc. this
week settled lawsuits filed by three former executives over stock options.

No terms of the settlements were disclosed, but The Wall Street Journal reported
no party admitted any fault or liability.

Three former executives — Todd Kenner, Joanne O’Rourke Hindman and Steven
Carter — filed suits claiming that iVillage (IVIL)
Chief Executive Officer Candace Carpenter used stock offerings to lure them
to iVillage from their offline companies, then did not follow through with commitments. All three were fired after less than a year at the company, and reportedly received no stock options when the company went public in
April.

According to the Journal, Kenner, formerly a lawyer with Gaylord
Broadcasting Co., was dismissed after nine weeks; Hindman was a 12-year
veteran of the Washington Post Co. who left iVillage after only four months
and Carter, a former vice president at General Electric Co.’s NBC unit, was
fired from iVillage after less than a year.
