Australia’s first regulated online casino
Lasseters Online, has witnessed a successful entry into the online gambling
arena with a average monthly turnover growth of 72 per cent.

After its first six months of operation, company revenues reached AUS$13.5
million and player registration grew by a monthly average of 94 percent to
reach 12,600.

Lasseters Casino chief executive Peter Bridge said the results have been
spurred by enormous demand from international markets, which account for 82
per cent of players.
The revenue generated online already exceeds the returns from the table
games at the company’s Alice Springs Casino, Mr Bridge said.

The AUS$5 million site has players registered from 154 countries and Lasseters
Online is anticipated to contribute 37 per cent of the company’s total
revenue this financial year.
An enormous AUS$3 million upgrade of the site is planned for the next six months.
