Microsoft and Intel will team up to deliver joint customers with end-to-end e-business solutions.
The Lycos Network will be one of the first customers to benefit from the combination of Microsoft software and Intel-based servers.

In other news, Microsoft’s CFO John Connors revealed yesterday Microsoft’s plans to spend some $4.4 billion in the upcoming fiscal year, as it invests in .NET areas ranging from web development and wireless to games and services.
