After the wave of business name-changes had seemingly slowed down around here, the trend once again struck our neighbors to the North yesterday. Vancouver, BC-based Prologic Corporation, a developer of web-enabled financial services software, has changed its name to Fincentric Corporation.

According to a statement issued by the company, the new name, which became effective yesterday, represents a more accurate reflection of the companys current market position and customer centric approach.

“We now market our wealth management system to top-tier, global financial institutions in more than 30 countries,” said Mike Cardiff, chief executive officer and president of Fincentric. “The name ‘Fincentric’ better reflects our current business and position in our industry.”
