Seattle-based Qpass is one of the sponsors of the content conference Internet Content West that opens today in Los Angeles.

Seattle.internet.com has learned that Qpass Founder Mark McNeely will be speaking on the “Show Me the Money – The Latest Profitability Models” panel session that will be taking place tomorrow at the Beverly
Hills Hilton.

The company arrives in L.A. in conjunction with an announcement that USA Today, the Houston chronicle, the National Journal Group and Internet Securities have all recently launched the sale of Web-based premium content or subscription services using Qpass’ DigitalCommerce Service.

The company’s digital commerce platform enables users to register once with Qpass when they make their first purchase from any Qpass-enabled site. Returning and repeat users are then automatically authenticated for additional purchases at all participating merchants within the Qpass network.
