Red Hat Inc. this week released
version 7 beta of its popular Linux platform.

Code-named Penstripe, the latest installment has a number of features, including:

  • A new multi-CD installation package
  • XFree 4.0 and Xconfigurator
  • USB Support
  • Help Text Available in Text Mode Installation
  • New GNOME Default Window Manager
  • LDAP and Kerberos Configuration

any of Red Hat’s geographically dispersed mirror sites.
