Sendmail Updates Mail Product Suite

Messaging firm Sendmail Inc.
Wednesday released the latest versions of its Switch enterprise mail
platform, including an open-source version of the sendmail utility.

The Switch product line includes:

  • Sendmail Multi Switch, which unifies complex enterprise level Internet
    Mail systems into a single, easily administered network (priced starting at
    $4,495)
  • Sendmail Secure Switch, which provides server level encryption for
    secure Internet business communications, (starts at $1,495)
  • Sendmail Single Switch, which provides all the functionality of
    sendmail 8.10 with an easy to use single point of administration, starts at
    $495 with a special introductory price of $99

Switch products support Solaris 2.6 & Solaris 7, as well as Red Hat Linux
6.x platforms.

Version 8.10 of sendmail, the company’s flagship mail routing software, was
also release Wednesday, and is available for free
download at www.sendmail.org.
