Sina.com announced this week that it has selected online store Cellmania.com and communications portal eTouch.com, as premier partners for its telecom center.

Under their partnership agreement, Sina.com will provide Cellmania’s wireless content — comparisons of cellular phones, pagers and other wireless devices offered at Cellmania’s online store — on its North America site.

Sina.com and Cellmania are currently creating a wireless buying guide for Sina.com’s Chinese-speaking customers.

On the other hand, Sina.com joined hands with eTouch.com to offer free global unified messaging services to Sina.com registered users.

Under this agreement, Sina’s members will enjoy the benefit of one-click access to voice, fax and e-mail messages via their Sina account.

Through the Web site — http://etouch.sina.com — Sina’s members will be able to connect with friends in another country with the eTouch Global Messaging feature, which routes voice messages to any eTouch members by simply dialing a local access number.

Sina.com encompasses a network of Web sites produced locally in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and North America. As of February, it claims approximately 16.6 million average daily pageviews and 3.1 million registered users.

Cellmania.com is an Internet content provider and online store for wireless
products such as cellular phones, pagers, and accessories, and provides advice and community-generated product ratings.

Covering the US region, Cellmania.com offers over 50 phones and 10,000 service plans from manufacturers such as Motorola, Nokia, and Ericsson, and service providers like Sprint PCS, AT&T, Nextel and GTE.

Cellmania.com also provides a directory of WAP applications that deliver Internet content to phones as well as offers value-added services, such as customized content to data-enabled communications devices.

eTouch.com is an application service provider targeting portals, ISPs and telcos with IP-based communication solutions for unified messaging, advanced telephony, and wireless applications.
