TeleBright.com Finds a Home on AllBusiness.com

TeleBright.com Thursday allied with
NBC Internet Inc.’s
portal AllBusiness.com, making its
presence as a tenant on the portal’s site.

The telecom comparison shopping firm, which tailors its services to small-
and medium-sized businesses, will fill a slot on the business portal for the
next year and a half. Financial terms were not disclosed.

TeleBright.com will be a premier provider of long distance, local, Internet
dial-up, T1, DSL, bundled services and wireless sales and
products to AllBusiness.com users.

While TeleBright.com’s service mirrors that of the popular GetConnected.com Inc.’s shopping
service, the key difference is in the make-up of its client base, said
Telebright.com’s Vice President of Sales, Andy Gordon. Gordon said
GetConnected.com caters to individual consumers; TeleBright.com likes to
sell to whole enterprises.

Telebright’s play is not all that different from GetConnected’s last move,
when it agreed to become exclusive provider of consumer
connectivity services for the e-finance leader Intuit Inc.’s Quicken
brand software and site.

Chet Thaker, president and chief executive officer of TeleBright.com, said
small business portals, such as AllBusiness.com, see the
importance in getting ahead of the pending explosion of online telecom
sales.

To the best of both TeleBright.com’s and AllBusiness.com’s knowledge, the
alliance is the first agreement between a telecom shopping site and a major
small business portal, which marks the arrival of online telecom shopping in
the Internet marketplace.

While GetConnected.com has racked up about 30 partners since its inception,
TeleBright.com is blooming fast, having signed more than 10 leading sites to
partnership agreements in eight weeks.
