Seattle.internet.com has learned that Vancouver, BC-based Internet professional services company Columbus Group has opened a Seattle office at the top floor of 1932 First Avenue.

The company’s Director of Western U.S. Operations Rich Adam has been on-the-scene for close to a month now…taking care of everything from scouting the office location to recruiting the U.S. team.

Columbus Group, which was formed in the Mid 90’s, focuses on creating people-centered CRM and customer service-oriented Internet solutions.

Columbus Group’s President Scott Brownlee is excited about the new U.S. presence:

“In five years, our company has become very competent in working with a variety of industry businesses, providing a broad range of e-business solutions. We have seen that our innovative thinking, disciplined development processes, and company stability are highly valued by our American customers, and we know that our Seattle office will greatly enhance our ability to support more opportunities.”

According to the Columbus Group’s VP of Marketing Bryan Mavrow, U.S. Companies that Columbus Group has worked with include Motorola, Blue Cross Blue Shield, SC Johnson, and its most recent U.S. client, Chase H&Q.

The Seattle office marks Columbus Group’s second regional office. It opened operations in Toronto a year ago.
