In Singapore, a 19-year-old Web master has been arrested by
authorities for alleged involvement in organized crime.

According to local press reports, Singaporean Lester Chang was listed as the creator
of a Web site dedicated to a well-known triad leader. He potentially faces a heavy
fine and a jail sentence.

The site, in English and Chinese, featured pictures of tattooed youths and triad
slogans. It was taken down recently after being featured in a local newspaper.

Police in Singapore have been closely monitoring Web sites in the island
republic which feature triads and are keen to enforce strict laws against promotion
of triad gangs and their activities.
