Vignette Corp., a provider of Internet
Relationship Management (IRM) solutions, is opening new offices in Australia
and Europe, and has opened an expanded headquarters in Austin, Texas.

Vignette opened its European headquarters in the United Kingdom in January. In
the third quarter of this year, Vignette expanded into Hamburg, Germany and
opened an office in Sydney, Australia. Next month, Vignette plans to open an
office in Paris. European customers include The Guardian, Shell Oil, British
Telecom, Bertelsmann, Lufthansa and Nokia. This week, Vignette will open its
new 90,000-square-foot world headquarters in Austin.
Vignette’s StoryServer 4 is a solution for building and managing personalized
business-to-customer relationships on individual sites and VSS is for
syndicating content and building and managing business-to-business customer
chains on the Web for maximum online market reach. VSS is entering beta
testing with various banking, high-technology and publishing companies and
will be generally available in approximately 60 days.
