Politzer & Haney version 3.0 of its Web Cash Managers, a Web-based electronic banking product for financial institutions.

Among its many new features are stop payment processing,
customer messaging, enhanced payment initiation, expanded information
reporting, and tighter system security.

The product is designed so banks can use Web Cash Manager to provide electronic banking services to
their corporate customers over the Internet. The system gives browser-based
access to banking products such as Information Reporting, ACH Origination,
Wire Transfer, and Disbursements, while also providing an infrastructure
within which a bank can launch third-party cash management products.

“This release is the third generation of our Web product within 14 months,” said Ralph Dangelmaier, vice president of sales at Politzer & Haney. “We’ve
listened to the marketplace and included additional functionality to convert
customers with workstation-based products to our Web-based product. Web
Cash Manger 3.0 enables customers to make a smooth transition into today’s
Internet technology.”

The vendor said that 10 banks are currently using Web Cash Manager,
and 10 more will be doing so by the end of the first quarter, 1999.
